During tax season, TXCPA builds a volunteer list of CPAs willing to do newspaper/on-camera media interviews. If you have the time and would like to be considered to represent the Society, contact Kari Owen at kowen@tscpa.net. She will contact you with details, which often requires an immediate response to interview requests – especially during a time of high media interest such as tax season. And remember: TXCPA has a database of talking points to assist with media interviews and can also help with members’ presentation needs (PowerPoint documents, brochures and handouts, etc.).
